With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma L Douglas (Port Arthur, Texas), born in Oberlin, Louisiana, who passed away on March 16, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Darbonne and Bertha Guillory Darbonne; and her siblings, Clarence, George, Robert, Charles, Coleman Darbonne and Willie Mae LeJune.

She is survived by: her son Dale Douglas (Laura Douglas) of Hammond, LA; and her siblings, John Darbonne, Richard Darbonne and Francis Vidrine. She is also survived by 4 Grand children and 8 great grandchildren.
