He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Gallow and Alton Gallow; his grandchildren, Emery D. Gallow and Daishanq; and his great grandchild Camden Lea.
He is survived by: his friend Stella Morrison; his wife Pearly Gallow; his children, Belinda Guidry (Steve), Peggy Bowie (Ronald), Lillian Gallow, Laura Vanwright (John), Ashley Marshall (Melin) and Emery Gallow, Jr. (April); and his siblings, Norris Gallow, Morris Gallow, Louanna Gallow Anderson and Genevaa Gallow. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
