With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elias Hernandez of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Natividad Hernandez and Sofia Rivera Hernandez; and his siblings, Herminia Daniels, Aurora Trevino and Roy Hernandez.
He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Vrooman (Jeff) of Port Arthur and Arthur Hernandez (Debbie) of Groves; his grandchildren, Mark Hernandez of Port Neches and Allison Scarborough (Stephen) of Orange; and his great grandchildren, Elena and Madelyn Scarborough. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 crisis we are currently in, all visitors are required to wear a face mask or facial coverings and practice social distancing as mandated by state and county officials.
