He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Chandra Dotson (Benjamin), Erica, Keisha, Neja Mitchell, Harold Mitchell (Michelle) and Devon Mitchell; his stepson Rishawn Perreau; his siblings, Rose Chaisson (Martin), Clifford Mitchell, Glenn Mitchell and Hardy Mitchell (Peggy); and his niece Alfreda Lee (Glenn). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
