With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Brazle of Port Arthur, Texas, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Irvin McNeal and Myrtle Wilkins McNeal; her siblings, James (Bubba) of Carl Lee, A. J., Irvin Jr., Fannie Mae Stagg and Helen McNeal; her children, Steve W. Prejean, Jr. of Beaumont, Texas, Stephanie Miller (Cedric) of Beaumont, Texas, Doris, Ann Branch (Dale) of Port Arthur, Texas, Karetta Brazle-Wells of San and Katie Brazle of Port Arthur, Texas.; her niece Patricia Ann Porter-Simpson of Houston, Texas; and her goddaughter Noelle Green of Houston, Texas. She was also cherished by Her eighteen grandchildren, fifty-one great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Sixth Street Baptist Church (548 Abe Lincoln Ave, Port Arthur, TX 77640). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
