He is survived by: his wife Mona; his children, Jarvis Hayes (LaTesia) and Shannon Garlington (Marvin Jr.); his siblings, Alex Hayes Jr. (Doris), Katherine Reed and Vanessa Terrell; his grandchildren, Jarvis Hayes Jr. and Karleigh Hayes; and his siblings-in-law, Mell Williams III (Wanda), Randy Williams (Glynis), Larry Williams, Willow Bernard and Shirley Wells. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
