We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2023, at the age of 89, Don E. Jones Sr. of Port Arthur, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mack Jones and Orelia Polite Charles; his son Don E. Jones Jr.; and his brothers, Ronnie Jones and Walter Jones.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darlanka Morgan of Port Arthur and Kelsea Jones of Houston, Texas; and his brothers, Floyd Jones (Beverly) of Port Arthur, Melsee Jones (Earnstine) of Beaumont, Lloyd Jones (Pete) and Terry Charles (Cynthia) of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
He was an active member of First Sixth Street Batiste Church until covid.
