With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Elizabeth Moore Balsamo of Port Arthur, Texas, born in Dayton, Texas, who passed away on September 5, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. V. Moore and Ester May Austin Moore; and her siblings, Junior Moore, Leroy Moore, Sadie McKay and Dixie White.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Ricky" Balsamo of Port Arthur; her sons, Bo Woods (Kristi) of Tomball, Joey Woods, Johnna of Orangefield, Jason Balsamo of Port Neches and Jeremy Balsamo (Jennifer) of Nederland; her grandchildren, Stetson (Skylar), Travis, Katelynn, Brooke, Summer Woods, Mallory, Michael and Aiden Balsamo; her great grandchild Hadley; her daughter-in-law Robin Woods of Bridge City; and her sisters, Lois Hippler of Hemphill and Sandra Dyess of Many, LA..
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society and the Southeast Texas Alzheimer's Association in Diane's memory.
