She was predeceased by: her spouse Tom Gillam, Jr.; and her siblings, Leola Berry Scott, Paul Berry, Sr., Emily Berry Taylor and Elder Peter Berry, Sr..
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Anthony Luke Williams, Heywood Freeman Jr and Halynn Rose Freeman; and her children, Leroy Gillam (Merilyn), Judge Tom Gillam, III (Rosanna) and Tonya Fills (Amos). She is also survived by four grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
