He is survived by: his daughter Savvi Riese Joubert; his parents, Delina Joubert, and Clayton Joubert, Sr.; his brother Sydney Gillespie (Dana); his nephews, Jakori Eaglin and Fredrick Nico (Brina); his niece Sydnee Rivers; his great-nieces, McKenzie and Ivy Nico; his aunts and uncles, Sidney Collins, Jr. (Shirley), Effery Joubert, Rose Bailey, Bertha Collins, Katherine Scypion, Kathleen Davis, Mary Rivers, Brenda, Linda and Faye Joubert; his cousin Michael Lute, Jr.; his close friends, Steven Day, Alvin Fontenot, Donovan Porterie, Robert Gillespie, Shakenia Smith, Jerald Aiken and Jacory Cormier; and his extended family, Deanna Day, Brian Turner, Lewis and Bertha Brooks of Dallas, Texas.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, neighbors, and classmates.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Greater Macedonia Baptist Church (1224 Houston Ave, Port Arthur, TX 77640). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
