She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Dunlap Pennington and Rev. L. C. Pennington; her husband Charles T. Byrom; her stepmother Velma Barnes Pennington; her siblings, Ira Vee Pennington, Clyde G. Pennington and Flora Warnock; and her grandson Jonathon Byrom.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Byrom (Betty) of Arkansas, Sharon Hubert (Jimmy) of Woodville, Texas and Nat Byrom (Becky) of Groves, Texas; her grandchildren, Rachel Clark, Samuel Byrom, Monica Hubert, Aaron Hubert, Jessica Jones, Melissa Byrom and Regina Byrom; and her sister Letha Hammond (Hugo) of Savannah. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
