With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Nelson Banks of Port Arthur, Texas, born in Stamps, Arkansas, who passed away on November 4, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Folton Jacobs (Faye) of Mantica and Audwin Jacobs (Evelyn) of Port Arthur, Texas; and her siblings, Dorothy Jean Nelson Watson of Detroit, Michigan, Izola Lee Nelson of Detroit, Michigan, Natasha Sidney Nelson of Detroit, Michigan, Robert Louis Robinson (Josephine) of Port Arthur, TX and Faye Robinson of Katy, TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
