She is survived by: her children, Mary C. Flores of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Alfonso M. Piña of Ridgecrest, California; her brother Joe Orta of Nederland; and her grandchildren, Nathalie Flores and Alessandro M. Piña. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
