He is survived by: his mother Frances Nolan Abshire of Elizabeth, Louisiana; his children, Jordan Abshire of Vidor, Ashton Abshire of Orange and Cody Abshire (Stephanie) of Alabama; his siblings, Darlene Quirk (Greg) of Elizabeth, Louisiana and Darrell Abshire (Lorie) of Orange; and his grandchildren, Delilah Abshire, Westlynn Fee, Nate Abshire and Whitlynn Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
