It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Draughon of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilson Draughon and Cora Belle Draughon (Loden); and his brother Richard Wilson Draughon. He is survived by: his wife Anna Lee Draughon; his children, Georgina Marie Mahoney (Roger), Daniel Lee Draughon (Becky), Patrick Allen Draughon (Valerie) and Mary Beth Stump (Craig); his grandchildren, Ashley Mahoney, Lauren Mahoney, Lindsey Mahoney, Cade Draughon, Trevor Draughon, Kelsey Draughon (Xhuli Toçe), Collin Draughon, Austin Draughon (Taylor), Clayton Draughon (Annie), Joshua Stump and Taylor Stump (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Elias Toçe, Daphne Toçe, Lucy Draughon, Joseph Draughon and Jane Draughon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Center Building Fund.
