It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Hughes of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Wagner and Ella May Wuensche Wagner; and her husband Bobby Joe Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Bryan Carl Hughes of Jonestown, Clifford Troy Hughes of Port Neches, James Roy Hughes (Teresa) of Wichita Falls and Lori Jan Tolar (Mark) of Georgia; her sister Gloria Lancaster of Cedar Park; her grandchildren, Bonnie Ansilla Bearden, James Ansil Bearden, III, Joshua Hughes (Jamieé), Misti Hughes and Seth Hughes (Brittany); and her great grandchildren, Joven Hughes, Jace Hughes and Everett Hughes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funerals are currently a public event being held during the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
