He was predeceased by: his parents, Brenson Keys and Louise Keys; his siblings, Earl Keys, Elton Keys, Brenda Walker, Patricia Miller and Winifred Keys; and his daughter Natalie Fontenot.
He is survived by: his children, Earl Fontenot and Jasmine Hill; his grandson Ta'Vionte Fontenot; his siblings, Enola Sampson (Allen), Beverly Durisseau, Clara Faye (Joe), Gwendolyn, Millie (Calvin), Darlene (Lee), Deborah, Brenson Keys Jr. and Reginald Keys; his grandson Tia Taylor; and his nieces, Tamme Cerf and Allecia Sampson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
