She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Jenkins and Helen Jenkins; and her husband Joseph "Butch" Babineaux. She is survived by: her siblings, Donald Jenkins and Agnes Getwood; her children, Jeffery (SaToiya), Joshua (Tye), Jean (Donald), Jonathan (Blair) and Jordan (Everly); and her sisters, Mary Clay and Eva Adams. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
