She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Ellias; and her daughter Jan Arceneaux. She is survived by: her husband George Prater, Jr.; her sons, George Prater III (Varetta) of Port Arthur, Eric Arceneaux (Trena) of Port Arthur and Ronnie Arceneaux (Geneva) of Houston, Texas; her granddaughter Erika Arceneaux of Port Arthur, Texas; her godsons, Troy Harrison and Eric Webb; and her close friend Lena Reedom. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
