He is survived by: his wife Mary Bazile Pitre; his children, Andrea Pitre of Beaumont, TX, Gregory Pitre, Sr. (Anita) of Hutto, TX, Eric Pitre of Dallas, TX and Patrick Bazile of Ville Platte, LA; his grandchildren, Gregory Pitre, Jr. (Rebecca), Sedrick Phillips (Valencia), Jalen Pitre (Rebecka), Julian Pitre, Tre'Pitre, Ferron Chevis, Chantel Washington and Emily Gloston-Malbrough; his siblings, Robert Lavalais (Connie), Arvenel Pitre (Ellen), Willie Pitre (Miriam), Emile Pitre (Barbara) and Linda Carpenter (Sammy); his cousin Gordon Lavalais; and his godchildren, Ashley Zeno, Cassidy Averitt-Carter, Emmanuel Carter and Shilo Baptist Church. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and co-workers.
