It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelaida Mendoza (Port Arthur, Texas), who passed away on March 23, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virginia Barajas and Feliciano Valencia; her children, Ismael Mendoza of Port Arthur, Leonel Mendoza of Orange, Jesus Mendoza of Port Arthur, Maria Mendoza of Dalton, Georgia, Marina Andrade of Port Arthur, Enriqueta Herrera of Port Arthur and Andelayda Figueroa of Port Arthur; and her sister Guadalupe Valencia. She was also cherished by 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
