He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Guadalupe Cabrales and Maria Luisa Garnica; his wife Rosemarie Millice; and his granddaughter Victoria Elizabeth Avendano. He is survived by: his daughters, Rose Marie Chavira (Javier) of Houston, Eunice Contreras (Tony) of Galveston Island, Smirna C. Avendano (Carlos) of Port Arthur, Miriam Cardona (Juan) of Groves, Amada Reyes (Benny) of Groves and Christina Cabrales-Marquez (Everardo) of Port Arthur; and his siblings, Arnulfo Cabrales, Maria Luisa Saldivar and Rebecca Briones.
