With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William R. Pakis (Port Aransas, Texas), born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on April 23, 2020 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William R. Pakis to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pakis and Marie Pakis; his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Jack Pakis and Mary Frances Stonecipher.

He is survived by: his daughter Alison; his children-in-law, Dean, Michael, Boyd and Kovianca; his children, Mary Katherine Tetirick (Dean), Laura O'Brien (Michael), David Pakis (Kovianca) of Fort Worth and Ali Naylor (Boyd) of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Jessica Tetirick, Samantha McSween (Rett), Stephen Tetirick (Kendall), Mike O'Brien, Shannon Loftis (Reed), Kyle O'Brien, Brooks Naylor, Jared Naylor, Reagan Naylor, Nicholas Pakis, William Pakis, Zachary Pakis and Anna Margaret Pakis; his brother Dr. George Pakis, Jr. of Jackson, Tennessee; and his close friend Nancy Callan. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren, extended family, friends.

The family suggests that donations in Bill's memory be made to St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Baylor Scott & White Central Texas Foundation, Vanguard College Preparatory School, or charity of choice.
