She is survived by: her children, Polly Ayala (Peter), Neal Nixon and Mark Nixon (Francisca); her husband John D Nixon, Jr.; her grandchildren, Savanna Savage (Taylor), Caitlin Nixon, Rawley Nixon of Amy Ayala, J. D and Lilly Nixon; and her siblings-in-law, Nettie Wood (Danny) and Thomas Nixon.
