He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Rangel; and his parents, Felipa Rangel and Jose Rangel. He is survived by: his children, Jose, Raquel, Esther, Diana and Mary Helen; his son-in-law Joe Martinez; and his sisters, Juanita Zapata, Esperanza Long and Rose Jimenez.
