It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Looper of Port Aransas, Texas, born in Cleburne, Texas, who passed away on June 18, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Borden and Julia Booth Borden; her husband Merle Looper; her sister Marjorie Gilley; and her grandson David Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Looper (Tabi) of Puyallup, WA., Linda Smith of Port Aransas, TX. and Susan Zieglar (Ed) of Port Aransas, TX.; her brother Lonnie Borden (Maria) of Cleburne, TX.; and her grandchildren, Heidi Harris (Justin) of Colorado City, TX., Brooke Atkins (Timmy) of Spring Branch, TX., Halie Looper, Lisa Castillo (CJ) of Renton, WA., Ed Zieglar Jr. (Sarah) of Port Aransas, TX., Amanda Templeton (Tim) of Port Aransas, TX. and Jinny Davis (Frankie) of Port Aransas, TX.. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren.
