It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Earl Merchant II of Port Aransas, Texas, who passed away on March 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Merchant (Anctil) and Daniel Merchant I (Earl); and his brother Richard "Dick" Merchant. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Daniel Merchant III (Carrie), Chelsea Hedeman (Steve) and Emily Merchant (John); and his sisters, Betty Merchant and Dianne Skinner (Bob).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to the Ronald McDonald House of Burlington, VT (http://www.rmhcvt.org) or the Texas Sea Life Center of Corpus Christi (http://www.texassealifecenter.org).
