It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Woodson (Port Acres, Texas), born in Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on November 11, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Lucille Monk and Johnny Tompkins; her husband Robert "Bobby" David Woodson, I; her daughter Tammy Woodson LeBlanc; her granddaughter Shelby LeBlanc; and her brothers, Barney Tompkins, Leroy Tompkins, Jerry Tompkins and Rodney Tompkins.
She is survived by: her children, Robby Woodson of Hamshire and Tiffany McFarland (Jerry) of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Jared Woodson, Jacie Bonnette, Macie McFarland, Kambrie McFarland and Averie McFarland; her great grandchildren, Clay Woodson, Cate Woodson and Millie Bonnette; and her sister Linda Cherry of Nederland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
