He is survived by: his children, Ernest "Cookie" Sonnier, Jr. (Jane) of Fannett and Dianna Wright (Richard) of Port Acres; his grandchildren, David Sonnier (Kristi), Jerry Sonnier (Misty), Debbie Henry (Jeff), Karl Wright (Traci), Jeffrey Wright (Stormy) and Deidra Mayer (Brad); his brother Clesma Sonnier of Port Acres; and his spouse Leatrice Sonnier.
