He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Lackey and Hazel Lackey (Ward); and his siblings, Virgil, Johnny, Eddie Lackey and Brenda Haslet.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Lackey of Poolville, Texas; his children, Neal Lackey (Dina) of Poolville, Texas and Donna Walton (James) of Poolville, Texas; and his grandchildren, Terry Hunter, Timothy, Andrew Davis, Barbara Small, Sissy Rainey, Keaton, Kevin Walton and Vanessa Smith.
