Teena left this world on January 8, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Hughes and Mary Helen Hughes (West); her son Ty McBee; and her brother Joe Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Dale Scott of Pontotoc, TX; her children, Cary McBee (Brandy) of Bastrop, TX, Kilee Owens of San Angelo, TX and Katelin Lucas (Shawn) of Midland, TX; and her grandchildren, Aaron McBee, Carson McBee, Jacey Owens, Presleigh McBee, Jexlan Wright, Christian Lucas, Elianna Lucas and Chloe Lucas.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leatherwood Memorial Chapels. A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brady Methodist Church (401 S Blackburn St, Brady, TX 76825).
