With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lela Jonita Borchardt of Ponder, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sulton John and Elena Barton Boyd; and her siblings, Nancy Murdock and George Boyd. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Borchardt of Ponder; her children, Elaine Borchardt of Lewisville, Joan Padgett (David) of Allen and Eric Borchardt (Angela) of Krum; and her sister Betty Burns of Farmers Branch. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
