He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Lester Smith and Maggie Leona Hawkins; his wife Joyce; and his children, Albert Joseph Smith (Adrianna) and Alesha Terherst (Mike) of Guthrie. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
