He is survived by: his wife Thelma Jean Tinsley; his children, Wedell Tinsley, Jr. (Nollie) of Pollok, Vivian Overshine (Archie) of Pollok, Charlotte Lamb (Russell) of Houston and Wayne Lamb (Belinda) of Ft. Worth; his son-in-law Lemuel Hicks, Sr. of Pollok; his grandchildren, Brian Lee Tinsley of Sweet Union, Earl "Sweeney" Hicks, Jr. of Pollok, Christopher Hicks, Sr. (Jessica) of Ft. Worth, Tiffany Rideaux of Houston and Jade Jenkins (Jason) of Houston; his great grandchildren, Christopher Hicks, Jr. of Ft. Worth, Jahmeila, Joshua and Yaliana Jenkins of Houston; his siblings, Curtis Sparks (Emma) of Pollok and Bonnie Bryars (Reese) of Los Angeles, California; and his niece Margie Tarver of Wells. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
