Vernon Brown Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Brown (Pollok, Texas), born in Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on October 14, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Lois (Beckcom) and Eddie M. Brown; and his former wife Madine Brown. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Brown of Pollok; his daughter Yvonne Brown of Nacogdoches; his stepdaughter Rosemary (Bob Baker) of Diboll; and his grandchildren, Vernon, Phillip, Bobby, Jennifer and Paul. He is also survived by Six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund located at 2005 Ford Chapel Drive, Lufkin.
