She was predeceased by: her father Joe Gainer; her grandmother Ollie V. Durham; her father-in-law Gene A. Shoemaker; her brother-in-law Jimmy Reynolds; and her goddaughter Casey Boles.
She is survived by: her mother LaWanna Gainer (Durham) of Lukin; her husband Curtis Shoemaker of Pollok; her son Forest; her daughter-in-law Lauren Shoemaker of Pollok; her grandchildren, Bentley Shoemaker and Maddi Shoemaker of Pollok; her sister JoAnne; her siblings-in-law, Ben Wilroy of Huntington and Delores Reynolds of Lufkin; her niece Addie Alexander (Nathan) of Pollok; her nephews, Richard Wilroy (Rachel), Navy, John Wilroy (Faith) of Huntington, Rusty Redd (LeeAnn Trapp) of Pollok, Wyatt Alexander and Tucker Alexander of Pollok; her great-nephews, Barley Redd, Bladin Redd of Lufkin, Andy Brewer of Lufkin and Riley Brewer of Lufkin; her close friends, James, Ann Kyle of Whitehouse, Bennie and Debbie Boles of Jacksonville; her goddaughter Lacy Mitchmore (Toni); and also, Caleb Brewer (Aspen) of Gladewater and Pebbles Steadham. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
