He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Monroe Pontious and Betty Louise Pontious (Wilson); and his son Richard (Rick). He is survived by: his wife Ronel Pontious of Pollok, TX; his daughters, Sandi Arredondo and Elizabeth Pontious (Beth); and his siblings, Darlene Pontious-Soles (Tracey), Judy Sevrence (Jack), Diane Patterson, Roy Meade and Robert Pontious. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
