She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Haynie (Youngblood) and William Rice Haynie; her husband Earl Edward Carl; and her siblings, John Haynie and Doris Haynie Chapman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Beaty (Everette "Sonny") of Baytown, Carlene "Sport" Carl of Pollok and Lyn Carl of Austin; her grandchildren, Melissa Laurent, Phyllis Margheim, John Beaty and Kent Carl; her great grandchildren, Mandy-Jo Laurent, Ashton Beaty and Beau Beaty; her brother William E. Haynie; and her brother-in-law Tommie Daniel of Cleveland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Winnie Berry Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 472, Lufkin, Texas 75902.
