He was predeceased by: his father Burt Owen Hyde; his siblings, Wayne Hyde and Shelia Hyde; and his granddaughter Sophie Lynn Hyde. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hyde of Pollok; his daughter Kristy Hyde of Pollok; his granddaughter Lilly "Honey bunny" Hyde of Pollok; his brother T. R. Hyde of Lufkin; his sister-in-law Betty Hyde of Douglass; his extended family, Aric of Pollok, Shonda Kelsey of Pollok, Cy Kelsey of Pollok, Celie Kelsey of Pollok and Callie Kelsey of Pollok; and his caregiver Judy Nallie.
