James Mott Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Mott of Pollok, Texas, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Mott, (Moore) and James Thomas Mott, Sr.; his former wife Marceal Mott (Grisham); his wife Mildred Mott (Modisette); his son Steven Lee Mott; his grandson Ryan Goff; and his close friend Toby Appleman.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Tyson (Charissa Mott) and Jeff (Connie Mott); his daughters, Dianne (Penn Bagnall), Pattie (Dennis Sheward) and Sherry (Harold Reston); and his grandchildren, Brandon (Lisa Goff), Jason (Jennifer Brewton) and Lara (Jeff Hall). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
