He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramsey Francis McKnight and Gladys McKnight (Newland); his former wife Elizabeth "Beth" McKnight; and his son Jeffrey Scott Fletcher. He is survived by: his wife Sandy McKnight; his children, James Ramsey "Jamie" McKnight and Cassie Moody; his grandchildren, Dillon McKnight, Cole McKnight, Jace Moody, Jax Moody, Jadyn Moody, Harlie Fletcher and Scott Fletcher; his brother Perry; his sister-in-law Betty Jean McKnight of Wells; his sisters, Jeannie Fuller of Houston and Glenda; and his brother-in-law Ricardo Martinez of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. McKnight was born June 8, 1954, in Lufkin, Texas, to Ramsey Francis McKnight and Gladys (Newland) McKnight, and died Saturday, September 11, 2021, at his residence from COPD and COVID complications.
