He is survived by: his wife Joan Spiers (Ward) of Pollok; his children, Clint Newcomb of Massachusetts, Vercie (James McMullen), Tony (Lana Spiers), Arnold (Jana Spiers) and Jerry Neel of Houston; his grandchildren, Tara (Jared Hendrix), Aaron Spiers, Daniel Spiers, Amy (Omar Navarro), Heather Harbour, Jerrica (Michael Perales), Kaylee Harbour, Brittany Newcomb and Ella Neel; and his brother-in-law Walter Smith of Picayune, Mississippi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
