He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Allen (Collier) and Drayden Vanburen Marshall; his wife Effie Marshall (Richardson); his children, Thomas Marshall and Janet Dixon; and his brother-in-law James Ivy.
He is survived by: his son Joe Marshall of Pollok; his grandchildren, John Calvin Marshall, Steven Ryan Marshall, Daniel Wayne Dixon, Phillip Scott Dixon and Lari Michelle Dixon; his sister Virginia Ivy of Etoile; his niece Betty Bundrick (Travis); his nephew James "Scooter" Ivy; and his great-nieces, April and Amanda. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, other nieces and nephews; and several in-laws.
