It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burt Sparkman (Pollok, Texas), born in Winnsboro, Texas, who passed away on April 1, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Polly Sparkman (Pinner); and his brother Luther Leon Sparkman. He is survived by: his children, Travis Sparkman (Rüya) of San Antonio and April Parker (Larry); his stepson Kenneth Sanches (Janis) of Pollok; his grandchildren, Misty Ford, April Sanches, Joshua Clark, Jared Sparkman, Jason Sparkman, Trent Sparkman and Paige Williams; his great grandchildren, Annabelle Ford, Emma Ford and Kevin Clark; his siblings, Claude Sparkman (Faye) of Winnsboro, Billy Jean Sparkman (Noni) of Winnsboro, Derward Earl Sparkman of Lufkin, Nita Neystel (Don) of Winnsboro and Gaile Lanier (Rickie) of Longview; his significant other Donna Turner White of Lufkin; his niece Margarette Sparkman of Lufkin; and also Katy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
