He was predeceased by: his parents, Trula Faye Morrow and John William Newton; and his brother Bill Newton. He is survived by: his nieces, Swan Klenke and Trula Capehart (Mark); his siblings, J. D. Newton (Bobbie), Thelma Moose and Diana Newton; and his close friend Chris Buffington (Stephanie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (985 Industrial Blvd, Point, TX 75472). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
