She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Ransom Rivers and Jane Ann "Jennie" Slider Rivers; her spouse J. P. Jacobs; her siblings, Olga Field, Billy Rivers of Tump Rivers, J. R, Harrell Rivers, Chester Rivers and Buford Rivers; her sons, James Jacobs and Dennis Jacobs; her grandson Macky Jacobs; and her great grandchild Shawnya Jacobs.
She is survived by: her brother Buster Rivers (Merlyn) of Point; her children, Troy Jacobs (Suzanne) of Emory, Johnny Paul Jacobs of Little Elm and Elaine Roberts (Johnny) of Rowlett; and her grandchildren, John Hines (Jenifer) of Kingman, AZ, Reggie Roberts (Debra) of Rowlett, Johnny Jacobs (Mary) of Dallas, Joshua Jacobs (Sharon) of Caddo Mills, Lorie Odle of Point, Regina Schirmer (Dwight) of Murphy, Adina Jacobs of Emory, Jennifer Hill (Trey) of Emory and Kara Wagner (John) of Point. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Point Church of Christ (150 N 1st St, Point, TX 75472). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lynch Cemetery.
