He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell Adams and Pearly Mae Adams (Hill); and his son Rusty Adams. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Adams of Point Blank, Texas; his children, J. J. Adams of Port Aransas, Texas, Tanya Adams (Ricky) and Benjamin Adams (Peggy); his grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Danielle, Misty, Crystal, Jordan, Daphne (Jamee) and Karegan; and his sister Ella Pittman (Teddy). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
