She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert Griffin and Luvenia Elizabeth Griffin (Clark); her former husband Kermitt Gunter Sr.; her husband Sam Jones; her children, Larry, James, Kenneth, David, Jimmie, Jerry, Charles, Dwight and William Gunter; her grandsons, James Gunter Jr. and Joseph Gunter; and her sister Jackie Baham.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Annette Morgan (Rick) of Channelview, Texas, Janice Faye Ward (Eric) of Channelview, Texas and Kermitt Gunter Jr. (Melony) of Camilla, Texas; her daughter-in-law Brandy Gunter of Point Blank; and her sisters, Shirley Wager and Dorothy Jenkins. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
