He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Flynn; his brothers, Bill (Judy) and Jack Flynn (Marlene); his nieces and nephews, Billy, Mary Ann, Lisa and Jack; and his stepchildren, Vickie, Becky, Chris, Bernie and Steve. He is also survived by fourteen step-grandchildren and thirteen step-great-grandchildren.
