He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Napier and Pat Napier Jr.; his children, Wendell Martin Napier and Eve Napier; and his wife Selma Castillo.

He is survived by: his son Kenneth Wendell Napier; his grandchildren, Scott Napier, Laura Napier Cortez, Michael Thompson and Nicholas Napier; and his brothers, Garland Napier (Ruby Napier) and Leonard Napier (Patricia Napier) of West Virginia. He is also survived by four beautiful great-grandchildren.
